Kelpie Wilson of Cave Junction, OR led a demonstration of biochar-making at Southern Humboldt Community Park in Garberville on Dec. 8, 2018. Kelpie co-founded the US Biochar Initiative and designed the Oregon Kiln, pictured here. Note the CAL FIRE staff in attendance.
