Nigilax, the large oceangoing skin boat of the UNANGAX People, is once again being made by the UNANGAX People, and we are excited to be hosting an important build at Mind’s Eye Manufactory. Come in and get involved!

Meet UNANGAX builders visiting from Alaska’s Aleutian Islands and local Native participants whose ancestral land we work and walk upon every day. Learn first-hand about traditional UNANGAX boatbuilding technologies, and life in the Aleutians.
