Tiny Forests With Big Benefits

This article is about a relatively new movement: Miyawaki forests that focus on carbon sequestration, wildlife habitat and urban blight improvement.

The comments vary from “this tickles me” to “be careful what native things you will  bring back with your native planting.” Comments also highlight Susanne Simard’s seminal work on microorganisms’ relation to the trees and forests. To me anything that gets people closer to nature is a big plus. Comments?
