Contractors Wanted

PROPOSAL DEADLINE: 3:00 P.M. December 5, 2023

Mendocino County Resource Conservation District (MCRCD) is accepting proposals for a contract, or contracts, to perform forest health, wildfire fuels reduction, and other treatments as part of Phase 1B in an area divided into three (3) treatment units near or adjacent to North Red Mountain in northern Mendocino County. Each treatment unit has its own scope of work and is separately described and mapped. The MCRCD reserves the right to award separate contracts to one or more proposers for different treatment units. Each proposer may propose for any number of treatment units.

A pre-submittal mandatory meeting is scheduled for this project.  The pre-submittal meeting will be on November 28, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at the foot of Red Mountain Road and Highway 271.  Please notify Doug Turk (doug@mcrcd.org) by 12-noon on November 27 if you wish to participate in this meeting. Project proposers who do not attend the pre-submittal meeting will not be considered for this project.

Sealed proposals will be accepted by the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, until the hour of 3:00 PM PST on December 5th, 2023.  Proposals will be reviewed, and proposers notified by December 8th, whether they have been selected.
